27 thousand signatures so far and this number is rising by the minute. When we get to 100,000 signatures, the US government must put the petition through to the right policy makers for this cause, and issue an official statement. Let's do this! Keep sharing, keep sending this petition to everyone and anyone you can. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, stand for Mauna Kea and be a part of this movement.

On day one, around 500 Kia'i showed up and stood up for their mountain. No arrests were made. And no construction vehicles were taken up the Mauna. Kia'i stood in Kapu Aloha, rising together.

On day two, the Kupuna held down the front line. Once again, no arrests were made and no construction vehicles were taken up the Mauna. Kia'i are standing strong in prayer. Aloha Āina.

From Integrative Media Co-operative: "I have been at Pu’uhuluhulu across from Mauna Kea access road since Friday night. Protectors are peaceful, well organized, and stocked with very professional people; attorneys, professors, nurses, firefighters, and people from all walks of life.

The county and state easily spent $100,000 yesterday (in just one day) trying to force a project on thousands of people that obviously don’t want it. To build the “telescope“ they will have to dig 600ft down and 3 football fields across into the top of the mountain. The impact will be tremendous.”
