Today, another high-volume delivery-only restaurant, "Bread & Breakfast," announced it will be operating from the Beverly Bites ghost kitchen at 8600 Pico Boulevard.

Meanwhile, residents continue to deal with the impacts of this growing delivery hub: driver human waste, noise, blocked traffic, illegal parking, and increasingly hostile interactions with neighbors.

Despite repeated complaints, City agencies have been unable or unwilling to bring the situation under control. The City Council office, City Attorney, Parking Enforcement, Mayor's Office, and LAPD have all been made aware of the problems, yet the conditions continue.

Instead of protecting neighborhoods, Los Angeles appears determined to accommodate an ever-expanding network of app-based delivery operations.

Residents are being asked to absorb the consequences while Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and other billion-dollar corporations continue to profit.
