Dear Signatories - let’s spread the peace message of HOLI

On 10 March instant, the Hindu festival of Holi was celebrated across religions, with much enthusiasm and gaiety in North India – especially in Mathura & Vrindavan - on the full moon day in the month of Phalgun which is the month of March as per the Gregorian calendar. A festival of colors, happiness and togetherness, Holi is a day where people get together, embrace each other, forgetting/forgiving all past resentments. The vibrancy of colors ushers in a lot of positivity in our lives and a regeneration of relationships. On the eve of Holi, typically at or after sunset, the pyre is lit, signifying Holika Dahan – symbolizing the victory of good over evil.

Taking the opportunity of this special occasion, we would like to spread the idea of peace to overcome the evil of violence. For this, we request you, Dear Signatories, to follow our #no.8 #SingForPeace - Sing a peace song with your friends & family in support of The Global Initiative (Satyagraha) for #ChooseNonviolentDefence and email us your video recording on: cpcr@shantisahyog.org

Do share this initiative on social media, speak to people about it, raise awareness about Nonviolence and Nonviolent Defence.
