YouTube Partner Program is a brilliant platform, but unfortunately Google is discriminating content creators from countries that are outside its partner program, which in this case is Timor-Leste.

Timor-Leste became the first new sovereign state of the 21st century on 20 May 2002 and joined the United Nations and the Community of Portuguese Language Countries. In 2011, East Timor announced its intention to become the eleventh member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

But still, after 18 years Independence, Timorese “YouTubers” that create and upload videos on their YouTube Channel cannot monetize their channels and get paid for the number of viewers their videos get. There are YouTubers in our neighbor countries that make a living just through their YouTube Channels. As the impact of not having Google Partner Program in Timor-Leste, some of Timorese YouTuber became target of Scammers from Google supported countries that selling Google AdSense Ready Account.
