Dear Supporter It is with great honour to celebrate with you a salient milestone in Malta’s plea to join the YouTube Partner Program. As from yesterday, Google and its subsidiary YouTube started to localise in Malta with a specific version and local domain for Malta being https://youtube.com.mt. This is the first step for introducing the opportunity to Maltese Content Creators to become partners. Hopefully turn this September Malta will be included in the YouTube Partnership Programme (YPP). This puts an end to a ten year old block that deprived Maltese vloggers, singers, performing artists, charity groups and the media from gaining economic growth by serving adverts with their videos on YouTube. Finally Maltese Content Creators will have a level playing field with the fellow European and International Creators. Victory will be declared once our beloved country is in fact included within the YouTube Partner Program.
