One particular supporter commented “… For years this country has been overlooked or considered too small or not significant enough to compete or catch up to other countries. This must change. I hope that this petition is one of many more to come which will gradually change this misconception about my beloved country, and show the world that we are just as able as everybody else, if we are given the chance to shine” So true, the misconception about our country or abilities has prevailed in years, despite that so many Maltese have shone in varied sectors abroad and left a mark. What irks in Google case is that it just treats the Maltese as advert consumers only, which is entirely discriminating. Some updates from my end: Now the campaign has its own branding The establishment of a Malta YouTube Community – Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1964091510526087/ All Maltese Youtubers (content creators of all types e.g. entertainment, gaming, etc.) are invited to join the community so that we will pull our efforts collectively to create “a network within the network”.
