24-year old Emma Kent sentenced to nine months’ jail for killing cyclist Gareth Davies. 10 secs of mobile phone distraction and now both their lives and families lives have been destroyed.

Mobile phone "addiction" is the leading cause of mobile phone distraction by drivers today and over 32,000 supporters of this petition agree! It is a global epidemic, regarded as the #1 road safety issue on our planet ahead of drink driving!

Apple & Google, you have the power to fix this. Quick, fast and simple. All you have to do is issue at update that automatically turns on your "Do Not Disturb While Driving" feature. Almost no one uses it. It is fantastic. It should however not be optional. It should be turned on by default.

So how many more lives will be lost, destroyed or injured before you act Apple & Google? It is fast becoming a disgrace. A blight on your brands.
