This is completely outrageous that a driver who "accidentally" drove into 5 cyclists, seriously injuring them and forever changing their lives, receives a $378 fine!! Not only has our justice system lost the plot, but these incidents go towards encouraging poor attention by drivers. Who knows if a mobile phone was at play here - we will never know and that is part of the problem!
