🦇 Over 5,000 Digital Signatures Colony! 💚

The Change.org counter has officially hit 5,000 signatures! 🎉

The best part? When we add in all the physical clipboard signatures collected from our festival booths across the state, we have actually already exceeded 5,000!

To every single member of this incredible colony: Thank you. Your hard work, shares, comments, and passion are what have carried this campaign this far!

With that being said, we have an exciting update to share: We are keeping this campaign flying right on through November and potentially December!

Because this is an election year, extending our timeline is a strategic move. It gives our state representatives time to transition and adjust after elections wrap up, and it gives us even more runway to secure vital co-authors for the bill ahead of the 2027 legislative session.

When we first kicked off this journey, our ultimate target was 10,000 signatures. Back then, it felt like a lofty mountain to climb, but looking at where we are now, 10,000 doesn’t seem far out of reach at all, because we are already over halfway there!

Let’s keep the momentum going! Help us continue to spread the word about our amazing little Hoosier Heroes, secure our endorsements, and give them the official state designation they deserve!

Sign and share the petition and let's keep soaring toward our next big milestone! ✨🦇
