I had hoped to bring this petition to a close upon reaching at least half of the number of donors to the campaign as far as page views, however, the way that the number of hits are actually accounted for here is really unhelpful, fluctuating based upon views within a specific time-frame (say, a week) versus documenting the total number of views from the very beginning. I am hopeful that I have reached my goal, or even surpassed it. I am certain that I was, at the very least, at 1,500, which isn't too bad considering the scope of the petition and peoples' clear insistence on not caring whether or not these individuals faked any or all of this, earning them almost tens of thousands of dollars for no real justifiable reason. If anything, this whole ordeal should lead many of us -- within the community as well as out -- to pause and reflect. For quite a bit, actually.
