Esta petición va dirigida hacia el gobierno nacional de Colombia y al presidente Iván Duque para levantar las restricciones hacia los extranjeros que tienen familia o pareja en Colombia.

Debido al esparcimiento del Covid-19, Colombia cerró sus fronteras el 23 de marzo para prevenir el colapso del sistema de salud. Desde esa fecha solo los vuelos humanitarios estan permitidos para ingresar y salir del país. Debido a esto, las familias y las parejas han estado separadas por casi seis meses y no saben cuándo podrán volver a ver a sus seres queridos de nuevo.

A finales del mes de Julio, el gobierno nacional anunció que los aeropuertos serán re abiertos lentamente en los próximos tres meses, empezando con vuelos nacionales y agregando lentamente rutas internacionales pero los ciudadanos y visitantes extranjeros no podrán entrar al territorio nacional antes de noviembre.

El 15 de agosto, el gobierno nacional se sentará con la alcaldesa de Bogotá, Claudia López para discutir la reapertura del aeropuerto internacional El Dorado.

Por está razón, le pedimos al gobierno nacional y a su presidente Iván Duque que le permita a los ciudadanos extranjeros que tienen familia o pareja en Colombia, entrar al país tan pronto el aeropuerto esté abierto.

Nosotros estamos dispuestos a tomar todas las medidas necesarias, incluidas pruebas antes y después del vuelo y manteniendo una cuarentena de catorce días en casa. Pero queremos ver a nuestros seres queridos de nuevo.

Porque el amor es esencial y hemos estado separados por mucho tiempo, hasta ahora.

This petition goes to the government of Colombia and its president Iván Duque to lift the travel ban for foreign people with family or a partner in Colombia.

Due to the spread of Covid-19 Colombia closed its boarders on 23rd March to prevent the collapse of the healthcare system. Since this date only humanitary flights are allowed to go in and out of the country, foreign citizens are not allowed to enter the country anymore. Due to this families and partners got separated for almost half a year now and don't know yet when they can see their beloved ones again.

At the end of July the government of Colombia announced that the airports in the country will slowly reopen within the next three months, beginning with domestic flights and slowly adding international routes but foreign citizens will most likely not be allowed before November!

On 15th August the colombian government is set to sit down with the mayor of Bogotá Claudia López to discuss the reopening of the capitals airport "El Dorado".

Therefore we ask the colombian government and its President Iván Duque to allow foreign citizens who have family or a partner in Colombia to be allowed to travel to Colombia as soon as the airport will be reopened.

We are willing to take all necessary measurements, including testing before and after the flight and maintaining a two week quarantine at home. But we want to see our beloved ones again.

Because love is essential and people have been separated for enough time by now.
