This petition is for people living on the 43/44 bus route who wish to have the service reinstated.This bus service has been reduced from 4 buses per hour to 2 buses per hour completely abandoning the 44 route that provides a vital service from the Hobson industrial estate through to Sunniside front street and to Sunniside club. This service is vital to those living on Sunniside front street even more so the elderly who live in the near by Sun hill who used this service on a regular basis to access the community and the local amenities in the near by village of Whickham. The 44 bus route was also vital to families and those who travel to and from work and having a reduced service will have a great impact on the quality of these peoples lives. We as a community wish to have the 43/44 bus routes reinstated.
