GM Vehicles equipped with 2G hardware will lose their direct connection to OnStar services at the end of December 2022, with the sunset of 2G.  GM is offering a phone application called Guardian to replace some of these services, but this is not acceptable.

Many of us have been loyal GM & OnStar customers for many years and have faithfully paid monthly fees to OnStar. GM should offer a free hardware upgrade to all of our vehicles.  This is a matter of respecting loyal GM customers and, more importantly, a matter of public safety.  

GM, please upgrade our vehicles so they can maintain their direct connection to OnStar after the 2G Sunset.
