Pat Claerbout, the new provisional Baldwin Park Shelter manager, on October 17th banned all shelter volunteers from the cat buildings and has scheduled a mass slaughter of the shelter's cats. This comes on the heels of her 64 cat and 10 rabbit killing on September 30th.

We, the undersigned, doubt her fitness as a caretaker for animals. Ms. Claerbout is still serving a probationary six month trial period and we ask DO NOT LET HER EMPLOYMENT CONTINUE. Hundreds of innocent animals' lives are at risk.
