اصدرت وزارةالشؤون الخارجية الكندية بيانًا تدين فيه عمليات القتل والإعتداءات الجنسية ضد الشعب السوداني الذي يطالب بحقوقه في الديمقراطية. هذا ويجدر الإشارة إلى إستعداد كندا التام لدعم الانتقال لحكومة ديمقراطية منتخبة في السودان. وعليه يجب على الحكومة الكندية مواصلة إصدار بيانات واضحة تدين استخدام القوة ضد المتظاهرين. كما يجب تفعيل البيانات الصادرة بتاريخ ٦ يونيو٢٠١٩ و ٢ يوليو وذلك بإتخاذ إجراءات بناء السلام الشامل والجهود الدبلوماسية لدعم النقل الآمن للسلطة إلى حكومة انتقالية مدنية شرعية.

Global Affairs Canada issued statements condemning the killing and sexual violence against the Sudanese people who are asking for their rights to democracy. Stating that Canada is prepared to do whatever to support a civilian led transition to a democratically elected government in Sudan. The Canadian government must continue to issue clear statements condemning the use of force against protestors. The June 6 and July 2nd statements need to be actioned by comprehensive peace building and diplomatic efforts to support the safe transfer of power to a legitimate civilian led transitional government.
