Hi everyone,
With the upcoming Victorian Council elections, we have an opportunity to drive a more greyhound-friendly agenda.
We've reached out to all candidates in Glen Eira asking for their positions on greyhound access to open space. We've had great engagement from a number of candidates and wanted to share the details with you, in case this influences how you might vote.
The most engaged / proactive candidates are:
David Zyngier (Camden Ward)
Alan Grossbard (Camden Ward)
Ethan Miliekowski (Camden Ward)
Gregor Ptok (Rosstown Ward)
Margaret Esakoff (Rosstown Ward)
Other, supportive candidates include:
Rachel Iampolski (Camden Ward)
Cameron Simpkins (Camden Ward)
Jane Karslake (Camden Ward)
Simone Zmood (Camden Ward)
Ricci Steckoll (Camden Ward)
Sam Parasol (Camden Ward)
Con Zois (Rosstown Ward)
Jack Dariol (Rosstown Ward)
Phillip De'Ath (Tucker Ward)
Jim Magee (Tucker Ward)
What is it about Camden Ward? ;)
If you want to help drive a more greyhound-friendly agenda in your Council area, we'd encourage you to visit the Victorian Electoral Commission website, where you can find the email addresses of all candidates.
Why not take a moment to send a few emails asking candidates to outline the issues of importance to you?
To do this, please
1. visit: https://www.vec.vic.gov.au/voting/2020-local-council-election/elections
2. scroll down until you find your local Council.
3. click on the 'Find out who has nominated' button on your Council's page where you will find a treasure trove of email addresses. :)
Thanks again for your support!
