Hey everyone,

Thanks again for all of your support for our effort to encourage Glen Eira City Council to designate off-leash areas where greyhounds are welcome.

Attached are the minutes from the Glen Eira Council meeting on the 16th of October where our hand-written petition (online petitions are not considered) was acknowledged and the Council voted unanimously to consider our petition in conjunction with their review of off-leash areas in Glen Eira!

There's still more work to be done before we 'declare victory' but we want to thank the Council for their unanimous support of our petition and we look forward to working cooperatively with Council to make greyhounds welcome in our community.
