PEER is keeping a close eye on ATMP progress, and has filed a Motion to ensure the court ordered Air Tour Plans are specific to the unique nature of each of the 24 National Parks including Glacier. Glacier National Park has a 20-year administrative and public commitment to the complete phase out of commercial air tours, which the draft ATMP includes but does not give a date-certain, and without which adverse impact to park natural sounds continues until....indefinitely?   See Press Release here.
