First, I would like to thank you all -- all 155,000+ of you. WOW!! The power of the Internet, right?! I am so humbled by your support, comments, shares, and determination to get a victory and send these ellies to a new home. I have been blocked by Nicole Feld, the Executive of Ringling Bros. However, that shouldn't stop us. Feld Entertainment has been through many ups and downs with animal rights activists, and we are not a small group :) In the next day or two, I will be printing our signatures and mailing them to the Feld Entertainment headquarters. With over 150,000 signatures, this will bring our petition literally to their front door. I also invite you to begin writing your own letters to send to Feld Entertainment. You can use the letter attached to this petition as a sample or create your own. Please refrain from using any curse words or negative and threatening language. Our passion is what drives us forward, not anger. The address to their headquarters is: 2001 US Highway 301, Palmetto, FL 34221. This Saturday, April 23rd, I am going to the Delaware Natural History Museum to see a screening of "Warlords of Ivory," which is a documentary on the illegal poaching of wild elephants. The Delaware U.S. Senator, Christopher Coons will be there, offering an after-movie speech on the importance of wildlife conservation. It is my hope that I will be able to share our petition with him and get some insight on how we can further propel our fight against animal performance and abuse. Our work is not done, but I feel our victory every time I check this petition and read your beautiful comments. Thank you, all! Know that we are doing immaculate work, and I couldn't have done this without your support. Let's get these animals out of Ringling Bros.' hands....
