Give Kenyans quality and affordable healthcare services.

The Issue

Every morning, Kenyans wake up to seek healthcare services from public health facilities and they're sadly met with insufficient drugs, a low number of service providers, poor service provision conditions, and poor sanitation in the facilities, Kenyans are then forced to expensively purchase drugs from private chemists and clinics.

Article 43(a) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, guarantees every Kenyan the right to the highest attainable preventive, promotive and curative health standards.  Majority of the services that Kenyans need are provided in Level 1 to Level 4 of health facilities, this is the level where Primary Health Care is achieved.

We are petitioning the National and County Government's Departments of Public Health and Sanitation to prioritize resource allocation towards improving the standards of providing preventive, promotive and curative healthcare services. Such include ;

  1. Immunisation services for preventable diseases,
  2. Good disaster preparation strategies towards containing pandemics and the breakout of communicable diseases.
  3. Allocate more resources with stringent measures for curative health services.
  4. The Legislature at both levels of government to effectively do oversight on how resources are used.
  5. Strengthening of public health systems which will help restore public belief and trust in it.

We strongly believe that the above will enhance the promotion of good health, well-being and high levels of sanitation and hygiene in the country.

Join Us in making this a reality.
