Recently, on 8 September 2026, Claire Holt - the actress who played Emma - shared on her Instagram Story that the cast had tried to make an H2O: Just Add Water reunion happen, but that the producers believed there wouldn’t be an audience for it. The Story also featured a photo from an online meeting with Phoebe Tonkin (Cleo), Cariba Heine (Rikki), Burgess Abernethy (Zane), and Jamie Timony (Nate).

H2O: Just Add Water first aired in 2006, yet more than 20 years later, the show is still loved and celebrated by fans around the world. Social media is full of edits, fan art, memes, and hilarious sketches inspired by H2O, with many of these videos reaching millions of views.

The demand is clearly still there.

Let’s show the producers how much we want an H2O reunion. It could be a movie. A special where the cast returns to the original filming locations and reflects on the show and the impact it has had on multiple generations. A reunion episode. Or something completely new.
