One thing that motivated the petition writers was visiting the HCC Ideastudio, which we did as part of a student organization to meet HCC and UT Tyler/HCC Aldine students. Just having this space made their CAPSTONE projects, Art Sculptures, and other things super fantastic, and we always wondered since then why that space didn't exist at UH.
