My dearest friends, and fellow supporters,
Happy New Year! Welcome to 2022 and a new year in which we all can be a part of something historic! In my philosophy of Buddhism this is being dubbed as the year of Youth and dynamic development oh, and I like the last two words: Dynamic development!
And you really are starting the year off extraordinarily right for me and for our campaign to end bullying and make bullycide a hate crime punishable to the highest extent of the law. So far to date oh, we surpassed 6400 signature, it was because of your efforts and because of what you've done to spread the message and to stand up for our young people around the world is what made this day possible. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you so extremely very much for really helping us to start the historic move.
Despite the increasing growth of this new variant of the covid virus, it has not stopped us from campaigning harder than we've ever had in our lives. I believe that 2022 will be the year that things will turn around for the better and that we will be able to get back to normal soon, in order for us to do that I encourage you all to please get vaccinated and tell others to do the same, in addition, if you've already been vaccinated with the two shot deal, get the booster please. But there is still a disease that must be eradicated from the face of the Earth, through our voices and our action, and that is the disease of bullying and hate that is causing such destruction against our young people, and there is only one cure that can be done, make laws that are tougher to make bullycide a criminal offense punishable to the highest extent! The families of those who lost loved ones from bullycide clearly are not having a happy New Year because their loved ones are no longer with them oh, it is because of them being bullied or harassed that broke them down emotionally and Beyond which made them sincerely lose their lives. I believe that 2022 is the year that we can finally stand up to say one simple word: enough!
It is up to all of us to do this, and to do this we need to really roll up our sleeves sincerely with action, prayer, and to promote this petition to every single one of our friends, family, community and our leaders oh, and to spread the message to the media about this mission. It is up to you and me to make sure that 2022 is indeed, the year of dynamic development in our campaign to end the nightmare of bullying and bullycide once and for all! The time for bullies having the power to make young people live their lives in fear because they love the same gender, practice a religion that they worship or what God they serve or more is absolutely 100% over! This ends today! We can do this, I have great faith in you all, this will not just be a victory that we can win with a new law, it will be a Living Testament because all of us had the genuine compassion and the righteous lion like courage to do something awesome!
So now, let's make this year the year that we have a dynamic victory in this battle. Can we do it? I think we can! So now, let us begin!
