My friends, and fellow supporters,
I want to take a few minutes first of all to thank you for all of your support in this campaign to make bullying and bullycide illegal worldwide. I would like to tell you what has happened to me now that I have a clearer mind set. You have been wondering what has happened to me since our last email. Now that I have the ability to share what's in my heart. I will open up to you now.
On the 1st of September, 2021, Ida a powerful storm that roared through Louisiana and marched up the East Coast, came through New Jersey and my home city of Englewood along with New York City and the rest of the tri-state area, causing unprecedented flooding in history. My mother and I and many others were trapped by the flooding, we managed to survive, but many who lived on the first floor lost everything. Right now as we speak they are rebuilding the apartments where we live. But the biggest and most trying challenge occurred four days later. Now get ready for a shock because I'm about to tell you these words:
I nearly died.
You heard me right, I would not be able to tell you about our mission right now if it was for a horrific event that nearly took my life out- a hernia that was near my belly button and was ripped. It felt Sharp, hot and painful and I had to move fast in order to save my life. I rushed myself to the hospital, and I explained everything to the doctors. They told my mother, if your son does not get worse during the night we will be doing surgery on him tomorrow, I'll put my mother in a tizzy and panic. Mom was right to be frightened for me oh, and I was frightened for myself, because the four days prior I said my mother we were going to die and I was fearful that I was going to die not being able to accomplish my mission. But because of the dedication of a surgeon who was the next person I was supposed to call and was on scene, he did the surgery the next day on September 6th, Labor Day and Rosh Hashanah, an absolute miracle. I am alive today because of the heroic efforts of the surgeon. But it made me aware of how important my life and my mission more than ever before is. That mission has not changed-saving the lives of our young people and giving them a voice of Justice against bullying and giving the families of those who lost their lives to bullycide a voice for justice against those who did the deed. I am fully recommitted and rededicated and revved up and fired up and ready to go to accomplish this mission to reach 1 billion signatures now more than I ever have. I cannot do it all alone! I truly, beyond a shadow of doubt, now more than ever need your help. Will you please tell your friends, your family, your community, and all who are on social media about this petition? Can we really make a difference before December 31st 2021? That would be the biggest greatest holiday gift to our young people ever! I cannot wait till 2022 when we begin a new chapter and a new mission to get the message to our leaders in Washington and the United Nations oh, that will be the Living testament of this mission!
Thank you all for your support and prayers, and thank you all 4 believing in this cause. Let's go in together and recommit to the greatest victory in history!
Sincerely
Christopher C. Gagliardi
