An open letter to Chairman Miller Dear Representative Miller, As Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs, you are well aware that this bill now carries cosponsors that number 3/4 of the House of Representatives. It is disheartening to hear that you are holding this bill back from going forward for a vote. This process of regaining presumption for the Vietnam Blue Water Navy has now been going on for 15 years This at a cost of countless of Veterans lives. The basis of government by representation tells us that the majority of the citizenry of the United States support the restoration of presumption to these Veterans. The thought that one man can deny the will of the majority is an affront to the principles this country was founded upon. Mr. Chairman, its time for the people to have their say without further delay. I call on you to take this bill out of committee and onto the floor for a vote.
