In the fall of 1998 (specifically November) on Cartoon Network, the animation community was introduced to three superpowered female kindergarteners. It was one of the newer cartoons, and over time, their popularity skyrocketed, thus resulting in 3 CD's, a movie from 2002, which is reportedly getting a sequel, a slew of video games, an obscure Japanese anime in 2006, multiple specials, two reboots (one being animated in 2016, the other being the infamous CW live-action adaptation, Powerpuff, which was later cancelled), alongside an upcoming revival by series creator Craig McCracken.  

It is quite surprising that they haven't joined the ranks of The Simpsons or Alvin and the Chipmunks, who already were presented with their stars in 2000 and 2019, respectively.

While the cartoon's 25th anniversary in 2023 may have passed, there is still hope for the 30th in 2028, it is about time we gave Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup their own star, for their contributions to the animation industry, and for kickstarting the careers of those who worked on the show.

Without them, we would never get later shows such as "Chowder" or "Teen Titans (2003)".
