The nuclear medal has finally been unveiled - but time is tight to get it to veterans before Remembrance Sunday. The predicted 8-week turnaround means the first medals would not be available until mid-October. Campaigners have asked for a special ceremony with the king handing them out, but none has been confirmed. For these frail men to travel to London for the ceremony and then the Cenotaph parade will be physically very tough, and there must be recovery time between the two.
