It’s time we raise our concerns to higher powers. The Disney+ App in South Africa is developed by hotstar, a Indian company owned by Disney. 

Why is that important?

Well we here in SA get a watered down version of the UK and US Disney+ app

The UI is lacking, Shows keep freezing even with excellent internet connection. The whole experience is lacking. No real 4K video streaming, Bad audio quality and Show posters take very long to load. The customer service team always gives generic responses and are never really helpful. It’s difficult to find something to watch as there is no real way to sort titles. When a show buffers it sometimes just start over

Please help us get to Disney so that they can  give us what we South Africans deserve
