Sasha's Beautiful Words!

I wanted to share Sasha’s words with you all! She is now preparing for her transplant and has been told by the doctors that she needs to take a step back from Social Media and concentrate on getting herself fit and well for her transplant. She has as we all know been through such a stressful and long process that it is quite hard to get her head round to the fact that this is actually going to happen! Her head and health need to be in exactly the right place for this to go ahead, these are her beautiful words to all her supporters: “Hi peeps, firstly sorry I have been so quiet, as much as all this brilliant, wonderful and amazing stuff has been happening with all you wonderful lot, behind the scenes it has been a different story for me, I don’t just have cancer demons to battle, this last month and a half have been horrendous! My lack of communication is not ignorance, it has been a coping strategy that has not really worked out too well for me. So I need to distance myself further and put as much time into my home and children as I can possibly squeeze in over the next month, this is on the advice of my consultants in light of where my head is right now! How brilliant is the news that the ball is rolling, my donor is being contacted, tests are being done, dates are being discussed as it looks pretty damn likely that you guys are going to actually raise (what to some) is the price of LIFE!! You have nearly raised a LIFE! How amazing is that!! I literally have no words, I will find them but right now it is just THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. This means I have now got to get ready to take that baton and cross the finishing line, the other day for the first time I saw that line! I haven’t seen it for a long time but it was there. I then woke up this morning and yet again the mist had reappeared and clouded my vision, but then I saw it, the tiniest sparkle shimmering like a single 1000 faced diamond in the sun and I realised it is not the finishing line, it’s a path and its lined with wonderful things to come, it’s my path, my new path and I’m nearly there and it looks beautiful!! But my journey is far from over, in fact it hasn’t even started. But what you ALL have done is help me finish the final chapter of the unforeseen ‘extended’ version of my last book……you have given me the chance of my fairytale ending, you really are giving me a shot at a real ‘Happily Ever After’!!! You have all done that, you can all say that you did that for another human being in a total act of selflessness and disregard for whatever struggles you were facing in your own lives, you stopped yours and gave life to someone else, how amazing do you all feel?? I wanted you all to know how special you are, Thank you!” Sasha really does have a beautiful way with words and it is nice to hear her words spoken, you have all really touched her heart with the support that you have given and as she said you have given her the shot at a real Happily Ever After, how wonderful!! We are nearly there, we are so close to hitting that target!! So if I can ask you all once again to help by sharing, asking people to sign and donating if you can we really really do appreciate everything everyone is doing. I have been in contact with my local MP as to what will be the next step regarding the petition and she is going to be advising me with this, as I said before it is not a quick process but we will get there, we won't give up!
