Renting campaigners need people who can share their story to get their message across. Can you help?
The Renters' Rights Bill is now in the House of Lords and campaigners are calling for it to be made stronger. With final changes - like action to prevent unfair rent hikes, closing loopholes landlords could use to discriminate against poorer renters, and making it easier for councils to crack down on dodgy landlords - this bill could make a big difference for renters.
Journalists often want to talk to renters like me as part of their stories, to show how people are affected by the renting crisis. Campaigners like the Renters' Reform Coalition (RRC) help to arrange this to make the case for stronger renters' rights.
If you would be able to help the RRC by maybe talking to journalists about your experience as a renter please fill out this form and someone from the Coalition should be in touch to find out more: https://www.rentersreformcoalition.co.uk/share-your-story
