Give Mr. Krabs, Squidward and Patrick their own movies!
The Issue
For the past 25 years, famous Nickelodeon character SpongeBob SquarePants has been featured in a lot of movies and special television episodes, and even on streaming services. This iconic character everyone knows and loves has always been the center of attention for a quarter of a century, and just recently he has been famous on Netflix. They did his own sequel called "Sponge On The Run," and it had pretty good ratings. Last year they came out with a movie for SpongeBob's squirrel friend, Sandy Cheeks, called "Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie," and even though it didn't have good ratings, I for one liked it. Recently, they're going to come out with a movie for SpongeBob and his friends' archenemy Sheldon J. Plankton, owner of the Chum Bucket, the least popular restaurant in town. The movie is called "Plankton: The Movie," and some people are just so excited about seeing it on Netflix in March. But if you ask me, I think if Netflix did movies for SpongeBob, Sandy and Plankton, they should have to make some movies for his best friend Patrick Star, his grumpy but highly sophisticated neighbor Squidward Tentacles and his greedy employer Mr. Eugene Krabs, the owner of the Krusty Krab, Bikini Bottom's most popular undersea eatery.
If Patrick, Squidward and Mr. Krabs had their own movies, not only will the main characters in the franchise be complete, but they will also share the same limelight as each other. And let's be honest, everyone also loves those characters since they go a lot of adventures together, land and sea.
I think now should be the time to act because these characters deserve to share the same limelight and recognition as they do in the series. Patrick, Squidward and Mr. Krabs should have their own movies and they are also the big stars in whatever they do.
