Mister Ed is a talking horse who is most known for his role in the self-titled 1961 sitcom Mister Ed. Among his many accomplishments, his inside-the-park home run off of Sandy Koufax is his most prolific. The iconic trot around the bases was capped off by a textbook slide into home plate, which was the inspiration for the 2024 hit song "Slide to Glory" (it's a banger).
