Truck drivers have been parking on Frontage Road in Princeton, WV -Mercer County- for YEARS. Some truckers have been parking there for well over 20 years! I have several family members and friends that have used this parking space for their tractor trailers. Last week they put up no parking signs along the entire road. DOH says they put the signs up because S & M Home Sales were leaving old beat up trailers (mobile homes) lined up down the road and the city wasn't happy. Now the truckers that live in the area are getting the crap end of the deal because they have nowhere to park when they come off the road! I'm starting this petition to get the truckers' space for parking back. That road is not used for anything other than the landfill. The truckers parking there has never hurt anything for the last 20+ years. There are several other things they could have done rather than putting no parking signs up. They could have told S & M to stop leaving their trailers and if they didn't, give them fines. They could have even made it where people need to have permits to park there and anything/anyone without a permit got the proper citation. To take these truckers' only space for parking their trailers after so many years is downright not fair and ridiculous. Please help me help my dad, my uncle, and several of my friends to get this space for parking back by signing this petition! Thank you all very much !
