There has been a positive response to the recent email sent in support from Craig Crawford’s camp yesterday.

He came up for Twilight Markets in Kuranda and according to his Electorate Officer Susan Lear had a great time!  Well we are glad to hear that, because we know what a great town it is.

They offered a meeting with us in late January, which we were thinking is a bit late, but guessing they need to get a response from TMR, and hopefully Minister Mark Bailey.  Susan said Craig is in support of locals using the train so, lets hope we get some headway in the coming weeks.

In the mean time you could email the recent letter sent to prospective stakeholders, which is on our APT Kuranda Facebook page, the email addresses are there too, and please share the petition!

I was interviewed this morning on ABC Far North 106.7 FM at 7.30am - as I was not well it wasn’t great...we really appreciate everyone who is spreading this message - now we just gotta drive it home for the new year...
