Greta Thunberg has repeatedly called on all of us to support scientists working in climate research. But these scientists need great public recognition and, above all, more money.

Together we can make a change. So it is time for another Nobel Prize, which brings this recognition and the necessary money with it: CLIMATE

Alfred Nobel was wise, but even he could not foresee the future. If he had been able to do that, there would already be a Nobel Prize CLIMATE today, I am quite sure of that. The recognition of the large scientific field, which we all so casually call CLIMATE, by a Nobel Prize would be an important step in the right direction. The Nobel Prize Committees now need our support to move forward courageously.

The signatories of this petition urge the Honorable Nobel Prize Committees to find a way to establish the new Nobel Prize CLIMATE as soon as possible.

I ask all those who are concerned about the polar bears, the future of our climate and biosphere, and especially the future of our children and grandchildren, to support me in this petition. My name is Andy Andresen and I became an environmental activist in 1977. I live in Munich and deal with CO2 neutral building materials made of bamboo. In my spare time I hike a lot in the mountains and love very old trees, which I photograph regularly.
