Hi there,

It has been some time. How are we all doing? We all continue to be challenged and each person's story is different. I want to hear from you if it has been difficult since the Child Tax Credit checks stopped.

Having trouble making ends meet is not new to families across the country however it is getting even harder and harder to stay above water, and our elected officials need to hear what that means in your own words.  When families stopped receiving the child checks what happened? I just learned that some of the most impactful stories in spotlighting this problem come from people who have relied on payday loans, pawn shops, or selling blood plasma to help make ends meet, either before the child checks started or after they ended.

My friends at Keep Families Afloat are collecting stories and asked us for help. If you've relied on payday loans, pawn shops, or selling blood plasma to make ends meet, would you be willing to share your story? Click here to share your experience.

Together, we are who will show our elected officials that the Child Tax Credit was so much more than just a check—and, together, we can win. If you have any questions, you can reach out here: keepfamiliesafloat.org.

As always, I'm grateful to be in this fight with all of you.

Onwards,
Stephanie
