Today, a new administration has been inaugurated, and they will need to keep hearing directly from us. And, the amazing news is that Vice President Kamala Harris has been a strong supporter of recurring checks throughout the pandemic. This is huge. 

For almost a year, you and 2 million others have been with me on this journey to get recurring direct relief checks. Because of your support, Congress felt the pressure to send another check in December, and we expect a third early this year. This is why our petition made the list of the top 10 petitions that changed 2020. You’ve called and sent letters to lawmakers, shared your stories, reached out to Senators on Facebook and Twitter, and offered words of support to each other. We’ve built a community, and that’s meant a lot to me during this incredibly difficult time. 

In the upcoming weeks, I am going to keep asking you to speak up, so we ensure President Biden, Vice President Harris, and the US Congress understand that we still urgently need recurring relief for our families.
