It has been a while since our last update and unfortunately, the bleak outlook continues both for the economic and public health crises we are enduring. Just last week, two of our employees at the restaurant tested positive for COVID-19. We let the rest of the staff know, canceled our reservations, and closed the doors. And now, our local public health authorities announced all indoor dining in our city will come to a halt. 

I know we’re not alone in our struggles. Half of American families are in financial trouble with no light at the end of the tunnel. Now more than ever we need direct cash. 

While politicians argue and dance around, we need the political games to stop and our leaders to agree to send more cash payments out. One $1,200 check wasn’t enough. The coronavirus crisis is getting worse, and the only way we will survive this is if they send out more stimulus checks. 

We aren’t alone in this — a recent poll says that 77% of Americans think we need more direct stimulus.
