Through the last 5 months together, we’ve spoken up loud and clear to say: one-time checks are not the solution. We need monthly checks until the economic crisis is over. 

Senator Mitch McConnell has introduced a new Senate COVID-19 response bill and it is clear that it is not good enough. Instead of making sure people have enough to get by, they are cutting support for unemployed and low-income people, cutting taxes massively for those making the most, and sneaking in changes to the law to let polluters and big corporations avoid responsibility for hurting people. 

I lose sleep each night thinking about what our plan is as a family to stay afloat during this ongoing pandemic. I know I am not the only one whose needs are not being answered and the worry is beyond heavy.
