Thank you for your interest in Camp Rolling Hills.
As a result of the sluggish economy, across the board cuts made by several large United Ways and lower than expected cookie sales, Girl Scouts of Western Ohio had to make some difficult financial decisions in 2013. This included resting Rolling Hills through the end of the year. We scheduled the closing so that it was after the summer day camps, to minimize the impact on girls.
It was and still is our plan to re-open Camp Rolling Hills in early 2014. We are developing plans to ensure that the council has the revenue to operate and maintain Rolling Hills in 2014, so that next year girls can fully enjoy the use of this camp.
