Save Merton Bowls Club

Save Merton Bowls Club
The Issue
We are the oldest Bowling Club in Merton, we were established in 1909l we are a very friendly Bowling club located in the Borough of Merton.
We are advised by the local council that our wonderful green will close in March 2016 unless we convince London Borough of Merton that our sport is for everyone and gives health and vitality to all our members.
It is a great sport for all ages and abilities
Address Joseph Hood Pavilion, Joseph Hood Recreation Ground, Martin Way, Merton, London, SW20 9BU
The club nestles at the edge of Joseph Hood Recreation ground and enjoys a most beautiful location. When playing on the green you feel transported to somewhere in the English countryside.
Founded in 1909, the club has a long and illustrious history together with great facilities such as a large clubhouse and a members’ bar
The club welcomes new and experienced bowlers alike.
