Hey guys my name is Sarah and a few nights ago I stopped at Taco bell on highway 411. My very good friend who i consider a brother works there. I went in saw he was working and me and my son waited until he wasn't busy, so we could say hey to him. Ordered food, sat and ate,  all of that. After he wasn't busy he was on his way to go out for a smoke break and a other coworker needed help. He needed his hands to help her so not thinking he put the cigarette in his mouth,  helped her, and then turned around to go with me outside. It took maybe 15 seconds. In that 15 seconds a lady snapped a picture in the drive thru and posted it here which has now caused him to be wrote up and they even threatened to fire him over it. This is the first job that my brother has ever held down as he has had some trouble over the years.  He actually enjoys this job and is training to become a manager and he's doing very good and we are all so proud of him. But now, because of this, he is upset with his managers rightfully so, because he doesn't feel like he should have been wrote up. And neither do I. I feel like they could have gave him a warning. And explained to him, there's health codes and things like that, but I don't believe like threatening to fire him is the right way to go. Jokingly, I made a comment about starting a petition because there were so many of you who were defending him, and I told him to tell his manager, if we got a certain number of signatures, he had to rip up to write up. Well, even though I was kidding, he did exactly that and told his management. So here we are. I'm making the petition and would greatly appreciate your signature. It's not gonna hurt anything.  But I want it to show my brother there are people rooting for him and proud of him for staying clean and working a job and that he can do this. He's not destined to be a failure all of his life. He's a good guy. And he doesn't deserve to lose his job over something like this. Thank you guys for your time and if you sign thank you so so much!
