Students in Brockport High have a major problem with Bobbie Dardono. There have been too many suspensions, unlawful threats, and lets people pull her around. There has been problems of harassment in the school and Dardono never does anything. She picks and chooses who she wants to help and who gets suspended. Bobbie does not help any of her students and never respects boundaries. She needs to be fired for the better of Brockport. Many students have said that the school was way better before she joined the staff. The school has turned political and is unprofessional, unprincipled, unproductive and so on. The principals, nor the board don’t do anything for the students.

The BASE program is slowly dwindling because of the lack of upkeep it needs. They care more about our grades than our actual lives and education. The schools admin does not have the students well being in their minds. They are supposed to help us get to adulthood but refuse to acknowledge the problems in the school. Even the staff of the school says that they aren’t helping any of the students. They call us liars, suspend us for standing up for ourselves, disrespect boundaries, blaming us for things we don’t do.

Bobbie Dardono has not helped any of her students since she has joined the administration. We need to take action and hold them accountable for their actions and have them face consequences. I’m tired of bending over backwards for the school just to always be told to “stay calm” when they constantly don’t help us. They label kids as bad or good and yet will have it completely backwards. They are irresponsible and ignore our problems.

They don’t do anything about harassment until you start taking it into your own hands. I have to yell and get ready to fight because Dardono does nothing to help. I have gotten threats of getting jumped and she refuses to do anything about it due to “no evidence”. But someone says that I’m threatening someone, she immediately takes action to punish me. I don’t get into fights nor do I say I want to fight anyone, but because she protects certain people, the ones who are being affected by those. 

She claims to be on our sides but will blatantly cut us off, suspend us, call us liars, or ignore us. I have heard stories of false accusations against other people she deems “bad” or “guilty” and when you give her proof, she’ll look the other way, say “you didn’t give us evidence”. She blatantly lies to the students and their parents to keep her perfect image, to keep the parents on her side. Even if they don’t fire they, there NEEDS to be a change in Brockport high school. They shouldn’t suspend kids for signing this petition because it is freedom of speech.
