lexia powerup is a learning program on school Chromebooks. it is incredibly boring and makes middle school kids have a negative association with learning. it also sometimes messes up and tells you your answer is wrong when its not. it has a horrible feature where if you get two questions wrong you have to watch a boring video and then do like 10 problems. after that you go back to the original lesson  but if you answer wrong twice more you have to answer the exact same questions as before. it doesn't help, it makes school something to fear instead of looking forward to. it is used quite a lot but I don't know why, but I don't want kids to have  to deal with this anymore. almost all the kids in my middle school hate it and we could learn so much more from just reading. help us make our schools better places.
