We should NOT have to wear ID's to school. I understand certain schools believe it is essential to our safety, but in reality it isn't. Also, tons of students are still being let into the school, without an ID, so what's the point of ensuring we buy one if you wont check us for it. We also have to PAY for them. If its mandatory then the school should provide them without cost, it's the reasonable thing to do. Some families are not able to afford and pay for an ID, so forcing a student to buy one is extremely unfortunate and unexecptable. We also have to physically wear them, which is not really necessary if when we are let in the school we have one. We could at least be able to keep it in our pockets or backpacks for secure safety and more reasonable safety.  Also, if someone were to lose an ID outside of school, a person could use that ID to get inside and harm the school and its staff and students. This needs to be stopped because its not only making our school less safe but is harmful to our guardians since we are forced to buy a new one.
