In 2018, we said "goodbye" to a national treasure. With heavy hearts we saw a man whose opinions on current events and political insights informed a nation and made us laugh. It gave us a wholesome sense of national identity.

That man was Rick Mercer.

At a time more pressing and crucial than ever, we need Rick's Rants. We need to have him humanize our politicians in a time when they appear so distanced from the average Canadian. 

Jon stewart did it for America. Rick can do it for Canada!
