Get Paramount Plus to sell all content to Disney Plus

The Issue

I mean no offense to anyone who works at Paramount Plus, but the streaming service is terrible. There! I said it!

Ever since late last year, I have been a loyal member of Paramount Plus. I've paid good money for a plan that would allow me to download episodes and movies for offline viewing, that way I can watch all my favorites stuff on the go without the need of a Wi-Fi connection. And yet, the app is always glitching! One small mistake, either by me or, more often than not, the service itself, and the download function starts to malfunction; it starts to think that there are downloads in the library when there are none, and as a result, you get cut back from 25 to only a few or none at all.

I have emailed tech support many times about this; every time, I always get an automatic response and it's always the same thing: reinstall the app, refresh the app, refresh your phone, etc. And no matter what I say to them specifically, the message is always automatic, which leads me to wonder if they actually care about what the customers think.

The last time I had this issue, no matter how many times they refreshed my account, which used to work before, the issue was so bad, they told me just to start over with a brand new account, which I did. And it worked fine at first,... but now the exact same thing is happening again! If it were for the fact that nine of my favorite shows, and 11 movies related to all of them, all reside on this service, I would have unsubscribed a long time ago.

Now, Disney Plus is different. It's home to a few of my other favorite shows, plus the Marvel and Star wars franchises, of which, I am a huge fan of both! As such, I download offline from there a lot as well. And on occasion, there is a random episode that will refuse to download itself, but if you wait a few hours, or just refresh the app and start over, it usually works itself out. Since they're both streaming services, Paramount plus should be this simple, too. Right?

But somehow, the tech team behind Paramount Plus has managed to complicate things so bad. And given my experience, it doesn't seem that they're going to shape up real soon. No offense to anyone hard-working behind the scenes.

So, I say that Paramount should sell all it's streaming content to Disney and split the profits. It would make things simpler to streamers, it could work for both companies financially, and people like me would be able to download offline with ease. What do you say? Are you with me?
