This January 12, 2026 , a heartbreaking moment took place when we trapped and rescued a mother dog and her puppies, along with the father. We believed we were placing them in safe hands by referring them to SETX Paw Patrol Rescue in Colmesneil, TX, upon another networker's advice. However, we were tragically mistaken.

Under the management of Ashley McFadden, the conditions at this rescue are appalling. The dogs, who should have been nurtured back to health, are instead living in filth and surrounded by trash. Even more distressing is the fact that some dogs are tragically losing their lives, while others emerge from this so-called sanctuary in worse condition than they arrived – emaciated and despairing.

The neglect and injustice must stop. We witnessed the decline in the well-being of the dogs we entrusted to SETX Paw Patrol Rescue. Our hearts break for these animals who deserve better. They deserve love, care, and above all, humane treatment.

We implore everyone to stand with us in seeking justice for these innocent lives. We cannot allow any more animals to suffer under the current conditions at SETX Paw Patrol. Action needs to be taken immediately to bring about real change.

We believe a thorough investigation should be launched into the operational practices of SETX Paw Patrol Rescue. Immediate steps should be taken to rehome the dogs in their care, ensuring they are transitioned to facilities that can guarantee proper care and support.

Let us be the voices for these voiceless creatures and demand accountability. The time is now to prevent further harm and make sure no more lives are endangered.
