After months of fighting and being ignored, We finally have an answer: charges will be pressed against the girl who assaulted Sofia.

The judge has officially deemed the perpetrator ‘mentally incompetent’ to stand trial. That means she is no longer able to face legal consequences in the traditional way because she is experiencing hallucinations and has been placed in and out of psychiatric care. 

this is not the justice we imagined.

But this is a win. It’s recognition. It’s validation.
