Stop the Euthanization of our US MILITARY DOGS

The Issue

Congressman Morgan Luttrell (From the Great State of Texas, District 8 118th-119th) has graciously joined our team to help us push this precious legislation. My Belgian Malinois was formally a US Special Forces Bomb Sniffing Dog. She was ONE HOUR from being Euthanized, before being saved for me and trained as a Service Dog.

Not only will this stop our four-legged heroes from being put down prematurely, but if passed it will afford the dogs a special area at Arlington National Cemetery to be buried with full honors.

We need YOUR HELP to stop these dogs from being euthanized after military duty. These dogs are just left behind to fend for themselves or be euthanized. These dogs have a heart of gold and deserve to have a special retirement to live out the rest of their lives.

I am a US Army Iraq Vet of 12 Years Active Duty, who Suffered a TBI Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD while in Iraq in 2005. I attempted Suicide 3 times, before Ciara Saved me and Now, I advocate and Speak on Suicide, PTSD, Sing/Song Write and help others going through it.

The Legislations name will be in her name and be called “Ciara Heart of a Service Dog MWD52022”.

Here are some calls to action you all can do.

1.      Call Your Local Congressperson and tell them you want to support this legislation, The U.S. Capitol Switchboard phone number in D.C. is: (202)224-3121.

2.      Sign this petition and share it with others.

3.      Write a letter to your representatives. The more ways they hear and see something on the same subject they are more likely to remember it better, and it allows them to know what their constituents value.

4.      Write a letter to President Trump asking for his support.

5.      If you have any pull with any media outlets tv, radio, podcasts or otherwise, share this with them, or have them contact me. I would love to share more with them.
